Big Stars Take Fall During Camp

As training camp begins for teams this month, it brings forth opportunities for players to shine to earn minutes. However there can be many negatives that come with camp. Dolphins star cornerback, Jalen Ramsey and Bengals quarterback, Joe Burrow, had to be carted off their respective field following apperant injuries. Ramsey is expected to be sidelined for 6-8 weeks following a knee injury that will require surgery. Burrow only suffered a calf strain and is still expected to be out for several weeks. 

Haslem Calls It Quits

After serving 20 years with the Miami Heat, Udonis Haslem has made the decision to retire from the NBA. This was no shock to anyone as Haslem was the oldest player in the league. Haslem finished up his career averaging, 7.5 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 48.9% from the field. Haslem was a key piece in the building of the Heat's dynasty in the early 2010's. A solidified Heat legend.

Getting Shaky in Indy?

Colts owner, Jim Isray issued a statement earlier in the week adressing the public that they did not offer star running back, Jonathan Taylor, a long term deal. This brought shock throughout NFL media as Taylor has been the workhorse for the Colts for the last couple of seasons. Taylor has expressed his opinions on the matter and is not to satisfyed with the Colts decision. Taylor is expected to request a trade later in the week if matters do not resolve.

The Desert Keeps Its Star!

It was reported today that the Arizona Cardinals have given Pro-Bowl safety, Budda Baker a chance to earn up to $2.4 million dollars in bonuses this upcoming season. Baker is also promissed a $300 thousand dollar signing bonus and a pay raise next season. This is good news for both Baker and the Cardinals. Baker gets another opportunity to prove his true worth and the Cardinals get more help in an already depleted secondary. The drama between Baker and the Cardinals comes to an end as the team begins its training camp.
