U.S. Women's Soccer Eliminated In Round Of 16

After winning the World Cup in back to back years, the United States Women's soccer team was eliminated in the round of 16 via Sweden. The loss came as a suprise to many despite the fact that the team had been playing out of sorts. The game came down to penalties where Sweden had the upper hand. The last penalty decided the game as the initial kick was thought to have been saved but after further review, the ball had crossed the line leading to a goal. Many players are facing criticism following the loss including forward, Megan Rapinoe. After missing a crutcial penalty, Rapinoe appeared to laugh and was shown smiling with her teamates. This missed goal wasn't very funny to fans and many others throughout the country. There is a lot of decisions to be made for the once luxurious squad.

Brawl For The Centuries 

During Saturdays game between the White Sox and the Guardians, a fight broke out between Guardians 3rd baseman, José Ramírez, and White Sox short stop, Tim Anderson. The fight occured when Ramírez slid to second base and Anderson was in the way. Ramírez had some words for Anderson and Anderson spoke back. Eventually, Anderson drops his glove and gets into a fighting stance. Ramírez follows and the fight insues. Both players were throwing haymakers but Anderson would get dropped by Ramírez. Benches cleared and the fight was broken up. The White Sox would go on to win the game to improve to 44-68 on the year.

Paul Defeats Diaz

In one of Jake Paul's most anticipated fights of his career, he was able to defeat Nate Diaz by unanimous decision. Paul imroves to 7-1 with his only defeat being his previous fight versus Tommy Fury. Many were suprised that Paul was unable to finish Diaz even after the multiple knockdowns scored by Paul. Following the fight, Paul made the request that the two rematch but instead of it being inside the boxing ring, it would be inside the octagon. Paul firmly believes that he is able to defeat the once top contender Nate Diaz, in a mma fight. Will Paul stay truthful and give Nate the rematch?
