The Sugar Show Arrives In Boston!
The bantamweight division has crowned a new champ as Sean O'Malley took down Aljamain Sterling via TKO in the second round. Coming into the fight, many believed that O'Malley was not prepared for the vicious takedowns that Sterling possesses. However, Sterling was unable to take O'Malley to the ground in the two rounds that the fight lasted. Suga Sean was able to strike down Sterling with a clean right hand and was able to finish the fight once he realized that Sterling was stunned. O'Malley serves as the new bantamweight champ and is looking to defend his newly earned title.
Colts Allow Trade Request
After requesting to be traded earlier in the month, Colts star running back, Jonathan Taylor, was officially granted the power to seek a trade. Taylor is coming off an injury riddled 2022 season but is looking to bounce back with a new program. Teams that are interested in the star running back include the Dolphins, Ravens and Cardinals. Baker Named Week 1 Starter
After having one of the worst years of his career in Carolina, former #1 pick, Baker Mayfield, is looking for redemtion in Tampa Bay. Today, the Bucs announced that Mayfield will be the week one starter for the team. This isn't a shock to many as it was reported throughout the offseason that he had the upper hand over Kyle Trask. Mayfield and the Bucs head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in week one. A tough test for the former #1 pick.
