Preseason Is Here!

Thursday marked the first NFL preseason games of the year. The Texans were able to defeat the Patriots and the Seahawks had the upper hand vs the Vikings. Even though the preseason doesn't mean much, it gives many unscouted and late round draft selections the opportunity to prove themselves. Even though some teams play it cautious when it comes to playing starters, some teams decide to play their starters for one to two drives to see if they can make anything happen. This also serves as a way to keep the players in game mentality. These first preseason games also shine on the rookie quarterbacks. In the limited snaps that he played, Panthers quarterback, Bryce Young, went 4/6 with 21 yards. The 2nd overall pick, CJ Stroud, struggled in his first outing. Stroud went 2/4 with only 13 yards while throwing an interception.
