Football Is Back!
It has been 174 days since an NFL game has been broadcasted on TV. Today, that changes as the NFL's Hall of Fame game will be shown on NBC with the Cleveland Browns facing the New York Jets. Both teams come into the game starting a young quarterback. The Jets are rolling with former 2nd overall pick, Zach Wilson, and the Browns are starting former Viking, Kellon Mond. As usual, the starters for both teams will be sitting out and monitoring the 2nd and 3rd units. The Browns are favored at -2.5 with the over/under being set at 31.5.
Kamara Faces 3 Game Suspension
Nearly a year after the inncident that took place in Las Vegas, Saints star running back, Alvin Kamara, has been suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the regular season. This comes as no suprise to the NFL community as Kamara was involved in a bar fight that left one seriously injured. With Kamara being sidelined, former Lions running back and last years leader in touchdowns, Jamaal Williams, is set to have the starting role. Along with Kamara, Colts cornerback, Chris Lammons, is facing a three game suspension for his involvement in the situation.
Paul vs Diaz Press Conference Gets Chippy
The anticipated fight between Jake Paul and former UFC superstar, Nate Diaz, is set to take place on Saturday. However on Thursday, the two had their press conference where they both answered questions from the media. At the end of the conference the two fighters stood face to face for the standoff. Following the standoff, members from both sides started to mouth to eachother. These words soon turned into hands as members from Paul and Diaz's staff began to push and shove eachother. The two sides had to be separated and taken back to thier respective locker room.
